Ugludax Lodge hosted many hunting and fishing clients this year despite some difficulties with inclement weather! We conducted several successful reindeer hunts this fall, and look forward to another great season next year!

Atka

Larry Csonka and his crew were on Atka Island in August 2009 filming episodes for the outdoor television show North to Alaska. The episode filmed on Atka Island showcases a successful Safari Club Reindeer hunt. Atka has had an excellent hunting season this year!

Nelson Lagoon

Summer 2009 was a great first season for our Nelson Lagoon sport fishing operation! We operated several sport fishing trips on both the Sapsuk and the Steelhead Rivers with great success. We constructed a Weatherport camp at the Steelhead river and are planning the construction of an additional camp on the Sapsuk in the near future.
